Meredith Nichols, M.A.
Medicaid Director, Administrator for Med-QUEST

Meredith Nichols serves as the Med-QUEST Administrator/Medicaid Director for the State of Hawaii Department of Human Services.  Meredith previously served as the Deputy Medicaid Director/Assistant Administrator for Med-QUEST from 2017-2026.  Meredith’s commitment to community access to quality healthcare is grounded in a deep love for the wellbeing of the people of Hawaii.  Growing up as a fourth generation Wahaiwā resident, she understands first-hand the importance of ensuring equitable access to resources for all of Hawaii’s people across the pae ‘āina.  She firmly believes that the shared wisdom of healthcare providers and the people they seek to serve is a necessary foundation to co-creating an excellent healthcare delivery system.
