Hawaii Medicaid Ombudsman
The Hawaii Medicaid Ombudsman can assist Medicaid beneficiaries with their QUEST Intergration Health Plans to ensure their access to care, promote their quality of care and to improve their satisfaction. The Hawaii Medicaid Ombudsman can assist and managed care Fee-For-Service providers to resolve concerns with their QUEST Integration Health Plans and Fee-For-Service programs.
Services provided to Medicaid beneficiaries include assisting and educating individuals about managed care system and provide guidance on how to navigate through the managed care grievance and appeal system.
Services provided to Managed Care and Fee-For-Service providers include assisting with understanding the requirements of the managed care system and educate on accessing the provider grievance and appeals process.
Koan Risk Solutions was selected to provide Hawaii Medicaid Ombudsman services to Hawaii Medicaid beneficiaries and providers on all islands.
