WHAT IS HAP? | The Health Analytics Program (HAP) uses an integrated data analytics tool that helps to understand the health of people in our community. It looks at health numbers and patterns to help leaders make better choices about health care. The HAP brings together major disparate sources of data into one place to help us answer complex questions about health care in Hawai‘i. Think of it like a health report card for our whole state. It is a tool built to help everyone in Hawai'i make sense of and understand health care analytics and data to better inform the public. |

WHY DOES HAP EXIST? | Good health care starts with good information. The HAP can give health leaders and stakeholders insight to see ways in which they can make more informed decisions in Hawaiʻi to use health care funds wisely and improve the landscape to see what is working and better serve the people of Hawaiʻi. |
