Criminal Background Check System Orientation

The Hawaii Department of Health (DOH) Office of Health Care Assurance (OHCA) and the Hawaii Department of Human Services (DHS) Med-QUEST Division (MQD) are excited to announce the upcoming launch of the Hawaii Background Check System (HI BCS) to assist facilities and the providers to comply with the background check requirements by providing a central internet-based method of applying for a background check and to check on the status of current or past background checks. We cordially invite you to attend an orientation session.

Orientations will be provided statewide for your convenience.  Refer to the orientation schedule, below.  You do not need to register to attend this orientation but seating is limited so you are encouraged to arrive early for a seat.  If the session is filled, you may need to attend a different session.  Attendees are also encouraged to carpool as parking is limited, too.
