Notice for Post-Award Public Forum on the QUEST Integration Medicaid 1115 Demonstration

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services approved the State of Hawai‘i’s “QUEST Integration” (Project Number 11-W-00001/9) Demonstration under Section 1115(a) of the Social Security Act on July 31, 2019.

The five-year demonstration project, which is administered by the Department of Human Services, Med-QUEST Division (MQD), authorizes Hawaii to continue providing Medicaid benefits through its managed care delivery system, continue providing Home and Community-Based Services to certain populations, and expand access to and benefits of Community Integration Services for beneficiaries who meet specified needs-based críteria.  This demonstration project is approved through July 31, 2024.

Under the provisions of federal law, the State must hold a public forum to solicit comments on the progress of the demonstration project.  Therefore, the MQD hereby notifies the public that a post-award public forum will be held to provide the public with an opportunity to give meaningful comments on the progress of the demonstration project as described in this notification.
